Used forklift costs can range from a few thousand dollars to over $100,000 for large capacity specialty forklifts. A general rule of thumb to use is a percentage of the price of a new forklift. A late model, excellent condition used forklift will cost 70 – 75% of a new lift. A slightly older, good condition forklift will cost you 50% to 65% of the cost of the equivalent new lift. Older lift trucks with high hour usage, will cost from 25% to 35% of new.
The trade in value of your current equipment is dependant on the brand, type, age, hour usage, mechanical and cosmetic condition. Our used equipment specialists can do a thorough inspection of your equipment and provide you a price for your trade in equipment.
