Gameplay[]

In the game, the Allies and Axis must fight for control on various points of the map. There are 10 points in-game; The Allied Outpost, the Cliff Bunkers, the Town, the River, the Farm, the Sewers, the Plains, the City, the City Hall, the Bridge, the Bus Station, and the Axis Outposts. Both teams outposts are uncapturable and cannot be reached by the opposing teams. Upon game startup, the Axis own all the points in-game except for the Allied Outpost (which is untakeable).

Classes[]

The game has 3 starting classes, Rifleman, NCO, and Support. Each class is designed for different roles in the war.

The Rifleman class has an M1 Garand or Kar98K (depends whether you are on the Allies or Axis team) rifle as its primary, an M1911 or Luger (this also depends on your team) pistol as its secondary weapon, a grenade (spelled Granate if you are on the Axis team) as it's lethal weapon, and a Bangalore as its tactical weapon if you are on the Allies team. This class is for standard shooting at others from medium to long range.

The NCO class has an MP40 submachine gun as its primary weapon, an M1911 or Luger pistol as its secondary weapon, a grenade/granate as its lethal weapon, and a medkit as its tactical gear. The Medkit allows NCOs to equip medical supplies at spawns and use them. There are 2 types of medical supplies: Bandages, Splints, and Heal. Bandages are used to revive downed teammates. Sometimes after being revived, your teammate may not have their weapon and may walk slow. This means they need the Splint used on them to regain weapons and normal speed. Finally, the Heal is used for healing teammates with less than 100% health. This class is for fighting at close to medium range and helping teammates who need medical attention. Medics are often called out for by people typing "MEDIC!" in the chat.

Point Capturing and Fighting[]

The Allies must first go via small transport boats to the beachhead, where they must fight their way through an onslaught of machine gun and sniper fire to reach the seawall. They can spawn a Sherman tank on the beach to assist in the attack. The seawall is a literal wall of barbed wire and wood. The Bangalore is a tube-like explosive weapon designed for breaking it, although grenades will do the job too.

Once the seawall has been breached, the Allies must overrun the Cliff Bunkers and capture it. They must then advance towards the Town, the next point on the way to the Axis Outpost. Once the Town is captured, they must capture and cross the River to reach the Farm. The Farm is notorious for being a rifle and sniper haven, due to its wide open spaces and tall buildings. Once the Farm has been captured, the Allies must advance towards the Sewers and Plains. The Sewers are underground, which results in close-quarters battles and XP farming. The Plain are wide open, and there is not much to take cover behind except bushes, ridges, trenches, and depressions.

Once these 2 points have been captured, the next point to be captured is the City, which is usually the hardest point to capture for both sides, due to its many buildings and opportunities for cover and defense. Once the City has been captured, the City Hall is next. The City Hall is also a notoriously hard point to capture, due to it having many buildings as well. Once the City Hall falls, the next point is the bridge, which is a killing ground for both sides. Once the bridge has been taken and crossed, the Axis's last line of defense is the Bus Station, where the Panzer tank can be spawned. Once this falls, the Allies have captured all capturable points and must hold off the Axis trying to break through.

Change log[]

The game has undergone quite a bit of change since its release in 2010. Over 10 years of development has certainly made a difference, with major changes to spawn points and many other aspects making the game very different from when it first started out.
