The Legacy of Kazumasa Sakaiis a mythic talein Ghost of Tsushima – Iki Island DLC Expansion.This walkthrough will guide you through allobjectives of The Legacy of Kazumasa SakaiMythic Quest and where to find the Kzumasa Sakai Horse Armor location among the shipwrecks.

Mission Info:My father’s long lost horse armor lies somewhere in the wreckage-strewn waters of Zasho Bay. If I recover the armor, I can use it to help rid Iki of the Eagle Tribe.

• Defeat the Mongols
• Speak with the survivors

Starting Location:The Legacy of Kazumasa Sakai

Go near the Mythic Tale location and a blue icon will appear on the map. Sit by the campfire with the people to start the tale. If you’re wearing theSakai ClanArmor the people will run away, you must wear a different armor.

Sneak into the camp to hear the rest of the story

The folks don’t take kindly to Samurai and thus kick us out of their camp halfway through their tale. We must sneak back in to listen to the rest of the tale.

After you regain control, look for a hold on the left side under the ship. You can crawl under there to get straight to the mission marker.

Just walk slowly behind the 2 people in the building and they won’t notice you. Then you can press at the waypoint in the house to eavesdrop on the storyteller. If you get spotted you are put back in front of the ship and must repeat this step.

Find the horse armor of Kazumasa Sakai

The Kazumasa Sakai Horse Armor is in the shipwreck furthest east of the search area. The ship is stuck on top of some rocks. However, we can’t simply swim straight to it. Instead, it requires a parkour section to reach. Basically, you must parkour over the other shipwreck and use your grabbling hook to tear down boats and masts along the way. We’ll go through the directions step by step below. In this section it would probably be easier to follow the Video Guide at the top of the page if you get lost.

1) Swim to the center of the search area, see the exact location below (the white character arrow on map). There is a wooden structure you can walk on and climb up the rocks (2nd screenshot).

2) From the top of the rocks, jump onto the big ship master and drop down into the water.

3) Gostraight ahead, through the water, and crouch under the opening below the rubble.

4) Head left through the hole.

5) Use your grappling hook to pull down the mast. You need this to advance later! Hold and then pull it with .

6) Backtrack to where you were before Step 3. On the opposite end of the area you can see a boat with a wooden beam under it. Pull the wooden beam with your grappling hook and the ship will roll over.

7) Climb up that ship. Then jump over to the fallen mast and swing across (tap in midair to swing with your grappling hook from one mast to the next). You’ll land on another ship deck.

8) Pull down the big mast on the deck of the ship.

9) Run across the fallen mast, head left,walk on the ropes to navigate between the masts. Before you jump down to the small rocks, stop and look at the waves. You want to jump to the rocks immediately AFTER a wave has hit them. Then you have a few seconds to get to the shipwreckbefore the waves hit again. If you’re on the rocks while a wave hits you get tossed back into the sea! However, you can use the wooden rubble to get back up and try again without having to redo the entire parkour course (end of 2nd red arrow in below screenshot).

10) After crossing over the rocks you’re in the final ship area. Go up the slope.

11) Then drop down to the rock below, jump towards the ship and press to hang on to the grappling point above. Pull yourself up and you’ve reached your destination!

12) And where we are! This is the correct ship wreck with thehorse armor of Kazumasa Sakai location. Grab the armor from the shipwreck. Then a cutscene plays where you put it on your horse.

Defeat the Mongols

After the cutscene, hold to charge into the Mongols to kill them. It’s basically a tutorial for the horse armor. It increases the damage of your horse dash. There are a few waves of Mongols, you can either trample them with your horse, or if you run out of Resolve you can defeat them in melee combat with your sword.

Speak with the survivors

After the Mongols are defeated, the villagers will come to the front of the shipwreck. Talk to them to end the quest.
